Fraternal Legacy Rider

Leave a legacy for your family and a Catholic charity with the
Fraternal Legacy Rider!

The Fraternal Legacy Rider (FLR) is a rider available on certain COF policies. (It is not a product itself). With the FLR, your life insurance death benefits can be used to support the Catholic community. You can make an impact on your local church, diocese or other approved Catholic organization by gifting them with up to $250,000.1

When you purchase a qualifying COF life insurance policy with a death benefit of $50,000 or more, you have the opportunity to add this unique rider to your policy. It provides an additional 5% death benefit at no additional cost to you or your family! This extraordinary benefit is payable to the approved Catholic charity (or charities) of your choice.
