Member Benefits

Our products allow you to leave a legacy to your parish, support your children’s school, and, perhaps most importantly, secure your financial future; yet it’s our fraternal benefits that truly set us apart from other insurance companies.

Members are individuals who are currently insured under a Catholic Order of Foresters life or long-term care policy or the named annuitant(s) of an annuity. As a member, your life insurance or annuity connects your financial goals with your Catholic values, and you’ll be part of a nationwide community of individuals who choose to secure their families’ futures while supporting Catholic causes.

Membership includes access to our full suite of life insurance and annuity products, Catholic Forester magazine, and exclusive financial resources designed for members who want their legacy to reflect their Catholic values.

Fraternal Legacy Rider*

The Fraternal Legacy Rider is an optional add-on available with certain life insurance policies from Catholic Order of Foresters (COF). Once you purchase a qualifying COF life policy of $50,000 or more, you may add this rider at no extra cost.

Upon your passing, COF will donate 5% of the policy’s face amount (up to a $250,000 maximum) to a Catholic parish, school, diocese, or other approved Catholic charity you designate. The beneficiary must be tax-exempt under IRS §501(c)(3), eligible under §170(c), and aligned with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The rider and policy must remain in force at the time of death; availability varies by state.

*Benefit available on qualifying Catholic Order of Foresters life insurance certificates. Terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements apply. Click here to view rider disclosures.

That’s why we created the Financial Wellness Portal, an exclusive online portal available only to Catholic Order of Foresters members. Inside, you’ll find expert insights, tools, and resources on everything from budgeting basics to retirement planning. Plus, an interactive calculator to help you set and stay on track with your personal goals.
