In accordance with Section 13 of Catholic Order of Foresters’ Constitution & Bylaws (“C&B”), the High Chief Ranger and High Court are elected by the National Convention. The election will take place during the National Convention. Elected individuals will take office on January 1, 2025.

Section 13 provides that an application must be submitted by email to High Secretary Betty Fiegen at secretary@catholicforester.org, or U.S. mail to ATTN: High Secretary, Catholic Order of Foresters, 355 Shuman Blvd, Naperville, IL 60563-1270, no later than June 3, 2024.

A candidate must be younger than 68 as of January 1, 2025. All applications will be reviewed by the Nomination and Elections Committee for determination of the candidates’ qualifications. Failure to complete the application and submit it in a timely manner or failure to comply with all requirements will result in the disqualification of the candidate.

After initial review for meeting the minimum qualifications, each eligible candidate will receive an email link to complete a biographical affidavit and release forms for background investigation. Failure to promptly complete these forms will result in the disqualification of the candidate. All candidates must be eligible COF adult members (age 18 years and older) in good standing and have their own personal email address, a desktop or laptop device, and preferably a smartphone or similar communication device to receive push notifications.
