Ohio Resident Elected to High Court
John Krebs of Ohio was elected to the position of High Court Trustee on Catholic Order of Foresters’ High Court, also known as the organization’s board. Krebs is a member of St. Michael 549 in Dayton, Ohio, one of Catholic Order of Foresters’ local courts (groups of members). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of Dayton, and he earned his Master of Arts in Economics from Miami University. Krebs has been a member of Catholic Order of Foresters (COF) since 1984 and has been actively involved in the organization by serving in various roles. Currently, he is serving as Recording Secretary of his local court and Treasurer for the Ohio State Court. Krebs, who is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the state of Ohio, has also earned the Legion of Honor Award from COF. This award recognizes members who, in an extraordinary manner, demonstrate the earnestness and desire to promote the Order’s principles.
“The Catholic Order of Foresters’ mission of financial stability of families and commitment to Catholic values closely resonates with my personal beliefs,” Krebs says about why he felt called to run for the High Court. “I have benefited from my experiences as a lifelong member, and I wish to continue to learn and serve the organization and its members.” He is most looking forward to working with the rest of the High Court and the Home Office staff, adding that he is excited to get to know members from outside of his local area. Krebs’ role as High Court Trustee will take effect on January 1, 2021.
