Rodney Oligmueller Elected to High Secretary-Treasurer

Nebraska resident Rodney Oligmueller was elected to High Secretary-Treasurer at the 50th National Convention in Omaha, Neb.

Rodney Oligmueller, of COF local court Immaculate Conception 1727, Omaha, Neb., was elected to High Secretary-Treasurer at COF's 50th National Convention in Omaha, Neb. He has served on the High Court since 2008 and has held many offices with COF, including Chief Ranger of his local court (2002-present) and Nebraska State Secretary (2004-2008). He earned the Legion of Honor (Third Degree) and the Merit Award from COF. 

Oligmueller graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City, Iowa, and attend the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He graduated from Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb., with degrees in math and psychology. Currently, Oligmueller works as the Director of Risk Management at Catholic Mutual Group in Omaha. He oversees 18 risk management professionals. 

"I admired many people on the High Court and wanted to work with them to enhance both our fraternal and insurance side of the business," he says about his desire to serve on the High Court. Oligmueller notes that serving on the High Court has blessed him with many new friends. "But, my favorite memory is seeing how proud my mother and father were of me when I was first elected to the High Court in Green Bay, Wis." 

He will begin his duties as HST on January 1, 2017.
