Mark Connaughton Elected to High Court

Kentucky resident Mark Connaughton was elected to COF's High Court at the 50th National Convention.

Mark Connaughton of Cold Spring, Kentucky, was elected to Catholic Order of Foresters High Court as a Trustee at the organization’s 50th National Convention in Omaha, Nebraska. He has earned the Merit Award from COF, and he served as Spiritual Director of his local court, St. Joseph in Cold Spring, Ky.

Connaughton graduated from Archbishop McNicholas High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Marketing from the University of South Carolina. Connaughton currently works for Munninghoff, Lange and Company CPAs. He has worked with this firm since 2011, and his duties include tax, insurance and accounting.

He is interested in making “a difference in a great organization and the lives of [its] members,” and Connaughton attributes this reason for running for the position of High Court Trustee. In this position, Connaughton hopes “to help the organization grow in outreach, financially and in ‘engaged membership.’” He notes that one of his favorite memories of his time with COF is the Kentucky State Court bus trip to Keeneland Race Track.

His duties begin January 1, 2017.
