Students of all ages, apply for a scholarship!

Fraternal Scholarship 

Annually, high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply for the COF Fraternal Scholarship. Twenty winners are chosen, and each winner is awarded $5,000 ($1,250 annually for four years). Read about previous scholarship winners in our magazine! Applicant must be a member of at least two years in good standing. The deadline to apply is October 31. Subject to terms and conditions.

Tuition Assistance and Religious Education Assistance

COF offers two different types of tuition assistance for those attending grade school and high school: Tuition Assistance Program and Religious Education Assistance Program. 

The $250 Tuition Assistance Program Award, or TAP, is available to student members in kindergarten through high school (12th grade) attending a Catholic school. Members may apply annually, whether they won or lost the previous year, as long as they are enrolled in a Catholic school. Each year, 250 of these awards are given. 

The $50 Religious Education Assistance Program Award, or REAP, is available to public school student members in kindergarten through high school (12th grade) attending a Catholic religious education program. Members may apply annually, whether they won or lost the previous year, as long as they are enrolled in a Catholic religious education program. Each year, 100 of these awards are given.

The deadline to apply is June 30. Eligibility to do so is immediate upon becoming a member. Winners are chosen at random. Subject to terms and conditions.

Educational Award

Members ages 17 and older who are planning to attend an accredited college, university, or trade or technical school are welcome to apply for this award! COF presents 50 of these awards annually, and each is worth $600. Applicant must be a member for at least two years in good standing. Deadline is November 30. Subject to terms and conditions.
