Our mission trips are so much more than a few days on a work site. Experience what God has in store for you, how powerful a changed heart can be, and how a simple effort can speak volumes. Ask the Fraternal Outreach Team for more information. Anyone adult member may attend.

Mission Trip Fundraising Ideas
Reach out to your relatives, friends, co-workers, fellow parishioners and fellow local court members to help you reach your fundraising goal!
Court Sponsorship: Ask the chief ranger of your local court if the court will sponsor you. Sponsorship might include covering the expense of travel or mission trip fees. Attend a court meeting after the trip to describe your experience and share photos.
Letters and emails: Send fundraising letters or emails to family, friends, and organizations. This is an effective way to share information about the trip and ask for support. There is a letter template on our website.
Free Will Offering Dinner: Know someone hosting a community dinner with a free will offering? Volunteer to assist with the dinner – prepare food, serve food, or clean up afterwards. Ask if a portion of the donations can be used for your trip expense in exchange for your help.
Restaurant Return: Ask a local restaurant to host a night when a percentage of the profit goes toward your mission trip expenses. Distribute flyers (or pictures of them via email or text message) to family, neighbors, and friends inviting them to eat out with you that evening!
Partnerships: Reach out to another charity to combine fundraising efforts. Do you know, for example, someone organizing a 5k for a good cause? Offer to run the race – and sign up an additional 10 friends – if part of the profits may be used to support your trip!
50/50 Raffle: Host a 50/50 raffle at a community event like a football game or church picnic. This type of fundraising will give the opportunity to keep half of what you make and is a great way to tell many people know about your trip.
