Indiana Resident Re-elected as High Chief Ranger

Dave Huber will continue serving as High Chief Ranger.

David Huber was re-elected to the position of High Chief Ranger, or Chairman of the Board, for Catholic Order of Foresters’ High Court (board). Huber is a member of St. Mary 293 in Crown Point, Indiana, one of Catholic Order of Foresters’ (COF) local courts. He has been a member of the organization for more than six decades. Huber graduated from Xavier University and has earned various LOMA designations including FLMI, AAPA and ACS. Huber spent 12 years as a High Court Trustee and also served as the High Secretary/Treasurer from 2000 to 2004. He has served as Chairman of the Board since 2004. Collectively, he has served the organization in various capacities for more than 45 years. “I have a firm understanding of the mission of the organization and actively endeavor to make certain that the mission is carried out,” Huber said. “I was humbled by the confidence placed in me by the members of COF,” Huber said of his re-election to Chairman of the Board. He is most looking forward to working in a collaborative manner with senior management for the benefit of COF’s members.

Huber also worked as an employee of Catholic Order of Foresters’ Home Office for more than 20 years, serving as President and CEO. In August 2019, the position of President and CEO was separated from the position of High Chief Ranger (Chairman of the Board). Huber continued serving as Chairman of the Board at that time, and was re-elected to serve four more years, effective January 1, 2021. On August 31, 2020, Huber officially retired as an employee from COF.
