Betty Fiegen Re-elected to High Court

South Dakota resident Betty Fiegen was re-elected to High Court Trustee at the 50th National Convention.


Betty Fiegen of Dell Rapids, S.D. was re-elected to the position of High Court Trustee at COF’s 50th National Convention in Omaha, Neb. Fiegen was first elected to the High Court on August 15, 2012. She has earned the Legion of Honor (Third Degree) and Merit Award from COF. Fiegen is a member of COF local court St. Mary 1173 in Dell Rapids, S.D.

She served as Vice Chief Ranger of her local court in 2011, and the following year she served as Chief Ranger of her local court. Fiegen graduated from Colman High School in Colman, S.D., and she attended South Dakota State University in Brookings. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado Tech University Online. Currently, Fiegen works for First National Bank in Sioux Falls where she analyzes credit information for a diverse agriculture portfolio.

During her continued time as a High Court Trustee, Fiegen hopes to keep the organization in a financial position that allows it to grow and stay competitive. “My most favorite member [of COF] has been serving the Trent River Camp,” Fiegen says. “It is amazing to see the joy in the faces of those that are able to attend.” She also enjoyed attending the 2016 National Convention, as her husband, parents, sister, two children and their families were able to join her.
