Volunteer Opportunities

As a fraternal benefit society, one of COF’s primary missions is to support Catholic and community causes. We encourage our local courts to fulfill that mission by volunteering their time and talents through our Matching Funds Program, Feeding God’s Children National Service Day held in conjunction with Join Hands Day.

Through a local grassroots network of groups called courts, members can get involved in helping others, their parishes, schools, and communities.

Matching Funds Program

The Matching Funds Program offers local courts a way to earn extra money when sponsoring fundraisers for benevolent projects. Members work with their local courts to identify needs and use their creative talents to raise money.

COF donates dollar-for-dollar when a local court raises $500 to $1,000. For fundraisers exceeding $1,000, COF matches the first $1,000 plus 50 cents for each additional dollar to a $1,500 maximum.

Parish Assistance

In keeping with our fraternal mission, Catholic Order of Foresters provides financial aid through loans to Catholic churches and organizations. Recipients use these loans for many purposes, including new buildings or expansion and renovation of existing structures.

Get Involved

Eligible COF members may participate in court activities and receive fraternal benefits at no additional cost. While COF offers benefits for all members and their families, we have benefits specifically for adults and youth who actively participate in court activities.
